Previously, as a result of power grid voltage surges, the motors' variable frequency drives (VFDs) failed. Due to the complexity of this equipment, its servicing must be entrusted strictly to qualified specialists.
We executed the following:
- repair of MGE electronic units for both pumps of the pumping unit;
- replacement of worn mechanical seals to ensure system tightness;
Multistage pumps are in operation at the station Grundfos CRE20-2 A-F-A-E-HQQE. Given their sophisticated electronics (MGE ecosystem) and sensitivity to power quality, these pumps require timely diagnostics, surge protection, and regular replacement of wear components.
Each pump is capable of delivering a nominal flow rate of 25.3 m³/h with an operating head ranging from 32.5 to 41.9 meters.
Integrated MGE drives automatically adjust the motor speed (up to 3,520 rpm) to match current system demand. As a result, energy consumption is reduced while maintaining stable pressure across the water supply network.
