The company’s engineers designed and installed a new heating system, consisting of three key elements:
- Central heat extraction unit
- External heat main, stretching 2 km
- 14 heating substations
The new system operates instead of the old mixed heating system, which had been organized through local heating devices such as air conditioners, convectors, and electric radiators, and as a result consumed a large amount of electricity.
In 2023, to avoid suffering from power outages, the enterprise began operating generators and later approached us with the idea of redirecting the by‑product heat to actual needs.
The company’s design department developed a set of solutions for redirecting heat to the heating systems of workshops, administrative premises, as well as for hot water supply.
Completing the work ahead of schedule made it possible to test the system during the 2023/24 heating season and already experience savings from using the heat generated by the generators.
